Etymology: In honor of Juanita Aucamp who discovered the first known specimen.
Place of Origin: South Africa, Northern Cape Province.

It features greenish-gray or light brown tones with mottled patterns and fine lines. It blooms in autumn with bright yellow flowers, which emerge from the cleft between the leaves. It grows in sandy soils rich in siliceous minerals.
